Eastern Bohemia

The tourist region of East Bohemia is situated on the border of Bohemia and Moravia and covers the territory of the current Pardubice Region. In the north, it touches Poland and due to its geographical position it is also easily accessible from all the other countries neighboring the Czech Republic – Slovakia, Austria and Germany. Among the advantages of the region, there are a rich off er of cultural and sports events, museums showing the folk crafts traditions and galleries, places of historical and religious interest in combination with natural resources starting with the lowlands in Polabí and ending with the tops of the Orlické hory mountains. The tourist region of East Bohemia represents a safe destination in the centre of Europe with a modern regional capital city of Pardubice.
